Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing gears up with new water contract

Water retailer Business Stream has secured a new supply contract with the UK's largest premium vehicle manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover.
The agreement will see Edinburgh based retailer, Business Stream, supply all of the manufacturer’s 29 water supply points in England with water and wastewater services.
Business Stream will undertake a full review of Jaguar Land Rover’s sites, as well as installing new automatic water reader meters to enable the company to make greater water efficiency savings.
Jaguar Land Rover sells over 500,000 per year worldwide, from a global manufacturing base in the UK, Austria, Brazil, China and Slovakia and has delivered annual water efficiency targets within its responsible business strategy. Going forward, Business Stream will work with the company’s Water Focus Group, for better water management at the six main production and administration sites in the UK.

In addition to providing a single consolidated bill covering their sites, Business Stream will provide access to its dedicated account management service, which includes day-to-day support and 24/7 emergency assistance, if required.
To date, Business Stream has helped its customers save more than £272 million in discounts and water and energy efficiencies. As passionate advocates of water efficiency, the retailer has also helped its customers save over 49 billion litres of water – the equivalent of nearly 20,000 Olympic sized filled swimming pools.
